Brontoscorpio is a giant scorpion from the Silurian.
Primeval: New World[]
The Sound of Thunder (Part 1)[]
A Brontoscorpio comes through an anomaly in a Cretaceous Forest Lake, and then through a few anomalies, before going through an anomaly into the present. A volleyball player came too close to where it was hiding, and it stung and killed him. It then dragged its prey back to the forest lake and finally its home cave in the Silurian.
It comes back again, attacking Evan, Dylan, Mac, and Toby, and they manage to push it back into the anomaly but it scratches Toby with its stinger, and she is injected with venom.
Later, in the Silurian, Dylan Weir attempting to get sample of venom for Toby to live, she falls in a hole, and the Brontoscorpio goes for the attack, but is distracted by Evan, and Dylan then tazes its only soft spot, the mouth. It retreats back into the burrow.
There, Evan and Dylan corner it, and Evan manages to cut off the tail. After a tremor that causes the burrow to collapse, Dylan rushes back to the anomaly with the stinger, as Evan is trapped in the cave with the Brontoscorpio close by.
