A group of Unidentified Pterosaurs are featured in the novel, The Lost Island.
The Lost Island[]
The Pterosaurs in the book are seen quite often. The first time they were seen was in the Cretaceous, on a beach shore, stretching their wings out to catch the warmth. It was then seen a little later while the team were still in the Cretaceous, were it flew close to their camp. It was described as having a sail like crest.
Identity
This pterosaur from the description is most likely Caulkicephalus, Which lived during the Early Cretaceous in Europe about 130 million years ago.
